Last week I went to the cinema for a film show. I was waiting for my friend when I noticed a tall man behaving suspiciously. Then I saw his hand going into a woman's handbag. She had forgotten to close it. The pickpocket pulled out the purse and started to run. At that moment, I should, " Thief! Thief!" The pickpocket panicked and run faster.
Some people chased after the pickpocket upon hearing my cries. After a short chase, he was caught and beaten up. Just then a patrol car came and the pickpocket was taken away by the police.
As I entered the cinema, I thought about how such incident could be prevented. We should be careful with our handbags in public places. We should also not carry our valuables in our pockets.
